27th Maria-Raîche Benefit Dinner of Stars - A welcoming dinner at the Old Port Steakhouse

For the past 27 years, the Antonopoulos Group has hosted this fabulous dinner in the name of a wonderful volunteer, Maria Raîche. On Monday, November 8th, the
Old Port Steakhouse welcomed 200 guests and raised a record breaking final amount of $33,200 to support children’s health and pediatric research in Québec.


To mark the 27th edition of this event, guests were treated to a performance by the charismatic singer John Labelle, who entertained the guests with jazz classics.
Suzanne Desautels, m.c. of the dinner for over 20 years, hosted the night with a warm heart and much enthusiasm. During the evening, Cindy Lambert and Ron
Mearns, whose first child, Blake, was born prematurely, told their heartfelt story. This young couple stressed that it is thanks to pediatric research that their child
has survived and is now a healthy boy of 4! They inspired the audience with their courage and their faith in the advancement of pediatric research. A silent auction and
live auction also boosted great generosity amongst the guests.
