History
Our Story and Founders
1977
Production of the first Telethon in Québec. Known then as the Telethon of Stars, it aired in French and English on CFCF 12.
1994
The Telethon of Stars becomes the Telethon for Research into Children’s Diseases.
1996
A Board of Directors is created. It is composed of representatives from the Service Clubs, regional representatives and members representing the Foundation’s corporate partners.
2007
The Foundation for Research into Children’s Diseases becomes the Foundation of Stars.
2008
Last Telethon is held.
2010
First Web-thon of Stars takes place.
