Our heroes
Our Heroes, a healthy child, are our collective wealth, our common calling.
One hero however stays in the shadow and yet accomplishes a work which results care often magical: the researcher.
Call it capital, fundamental or essential, but the contribution the Foundation makes to the advancement of pediatric research in Quebec owes its credit to all the men and women sensitive to the well-being and healing of children.
In an effort to bring closer together the public and researchers, and to further define the latters' role, the Foundation intends to put online an action plan in four points:
- Invite researchers to explain their field and share their scientific knowledge
- Share research results
- Facilitate an understanding of research work, analysis and results
- Educate the public on the importance of key issues in each area of expertise.
With this plan, we shall popularize scientific knowledge to clarify certain interpretations and beliefs, so that we can all better understand research issues.
In short, the researchers will serve as the primary source of information on their area of expertise.
